HCM 9.1 + ML (Windows client)

Downloaded from http://edelivery.oracle.com
Choose "Peoplesoft Entreprise", plateform "Windows" (the plateform does not really matter here), then under "PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Resources Management System 9.1 Media Pack", then disk named as
"PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Resources Management System 9.1 - Revision 1"

Important note : whether the OS wordsize (32/64bits) does not matter for a client installation, it makes a big difference as soon as you install a server (Apps/Batch/PIA), only a 64bit OS is certified in that case. However, on Windows, a 32bit Oracle client is always required, either for client or server installation.

At this step you'll need the license code from (depending of the database type you are working on - I'm still puzzle why not simply ask for the database type instead of those codes) http://licensecodes.oracle.com/ent_keys_by_prod.html#HCM
The license code are same for production usage.

I never ran successfully the setup.bat under /Disk1 (never responds), I always have to use /Disk1/InstData/setup.exe instead.
NOTE (added 21-FEB-2010) : it could run after few changes in setup.bat file, please read my the previous article Peopletools installation.

The installation of Peopletools show below is on Windows Server 2008 64bit.

HCM 9.1

Specify the same path directory as your Peopletools installation

HCM 9.1 ML
This is optional of course, only if you want to use languages other than English.

At this step you'll need the license code from http://licensecodes.oracle.com/ent_keys_by_prod.html#Translations

Nicolas,

On your ML install did you get the option to include UK English? I'm trying to get the translation installed but it seems to be missing some languages.

thanks

Duncan

Good question indeed. Nowhere the "UK English" is prompted for install.
To be follow in your thread in OTN Forum :
